The Labor History Mural at The Augusta Lewis Troup Charter School in New Haven, CT
The Mural, which is about forty-eight feet long by five feet high, is the product of
Susan Bowen, muralist and artist from New York.
Ms. Bowen created it
using photographs chosen from the GNHLHA archives and from noted photo
journalist Virginia Blaisdell of New Haven. The project was headed by
the GNHLHA in collaboration with the Percent for Art Program.
The Augusta Lewis Troup Charter School of New Haven, CT, was re-dedicated
in 2008.
